Materials

We have machining and fabrication experience with a wide range of plastic materials, including:

Acrylic

Available in many stock colors and thicknesses. Great for display/showcase applications, laser cuts nicely and fabricates well.

PETG

Clear material available in several thicknesses, used frequently in graphic holder applications. More durable than acrylic, can be laser cut in the thinner thicknesses

Polycarbonate

Clear material, extremely durable and available in several thicknesses. Used when durability is important, such as machine guards or of high traffic display areas. Cannot be laser cut, but routes and glues well.

EPVC (Sintra, Komatex)

Available in many stock colors (3mm & 6mm) and also white and black (many thicknesses). Lightweight, durable material that machines and fabricates well. Used a lot in display production.

Polystyrene

Mainly white and black in several thicknesses. Custom colors and thicknesses available. Durable and versatile material that prints well and easy to machine and fabricate.

ABS

Similar to styrene but with rubber components added for increase strength and durability

HDPE

A strong and durable petroleum based plastic that machines well. Used for components that requires durability and strength.

Nylon

Used for various types of wear components such as gears, cams, bearings, valve seats and other applications that require wear resistance, quiet operation and low coefficients of friction. Machines well.
